Healthy Breakfast!

Mornings are hard!

7:45 meetings come too often for me...

So, I love having quick and healthy breakfasts that give me the energy I need!

Here are a few ideas...

Morning Oatmeal.  

   There are a bazillion morning oatmeal recipes online.  I love TheYummyLife.com recipes.  I always make the raspberry vanilla.  YUM!!  You can find them here: http://www.theyummylife.com/Refrigerator_Oatmeal


Gluten-Free Baked Oatmeal Casserole.

Smoothies and Juices.

I love the ToneItUp.com recipes for smoothies.  They are simple and I think super yummy.  Here is my favorite smoothie to whip up (called the Coconut Princess!):

1 scoop coconut Protein Powder
1 c. almond milk, unsweetened
1/2 frozen banana
2 Tbsp sliced almonds (I use almond butter)
1 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Blend all in your high tech blender.  Drink up!!!
